This blog was created because too many Blacks in Houston are out of the loop with current events and issues happening within the city. I met a woman today who has never been to 3rd Ward. She's lived in Houston for over 5 years, and still has never been to the historical black district of Houston. I find this absolutely ridiculous!!!! And this blog is the result of that conversation.
What I ultimately want to achieve with this blog is unlimited accessibility to information. A dense collection of local resources that focus and emphasize Black-centric (Pan-African Diaspora) business, events, issues, culture, progression, and news. A mass effort of collaboration to disseminate information to the Black Community.
In the age of lightning fast technology, there is no reason why people should still be out-of-the-loop with current local events.
